I receive Mark Joyner’s daily e-mails and enjoy the sayings he has posted each day. Today’s was:

Our Mystery Woman also had this to say:

“Nobody cares if you can’t dance well. Just get up and dance. Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion.”

Mark Joyner, Founder of simple•ology

Why did I like this so much? I think it holds true for most businesses. Being genuine and expressing your passion goes so much farther than just about anything else you can do. It’s hard to sell when you are not passionate about it.

It is also something that I take from my work with nonprofit’s and apply it to the for profit field. When a nonprofit grows their organization finding people whether it be a donor, volunteer or a staff with a similar passion is the most important ingredient that will enable them to be successful. Can you do that in your organization?
