I have been trying to find a good layout for Event Planning that I can use in conjunction with my SPIDER Launch Principles and continuously go back to the basic principles of holding a Kaizen Event for planning practically any type of event. Now that I gave you an outline, I am going to tell you that it does not work. You must first recognize that there is not “one path”. You or your company are different than anyone else. You may choose to incorporate all or just a few of these steps. Your judgement will have to determine the low hanging fruit and the way to “get er done”. What I do encourage is that you do just that, “get er done”, but also document your process around these 4 or even 3 steps. As you repeat the process, it will get better each time and as a result continuous improvement will start.
