You want me to start marketing your company today. Here is what I would do:
3. Review how your product helps your customer and all the material you have to support that.
So, simply stated, what does your product do? How does it help your customer? How does is save your customer money? And what marketing materials, you have that supports all that? Typically, we can all name and support why customer should be using our product. The benefits, features and advantages are always obvious to us. And we have programs of information supporting it, or do we? Many times you will find much of the information being about your company and building the brand or a new slogan being introduced. But really, how much of it to the customer care about? If you pile all this material up, which information do you have the least of? Or what information you take to a trade show and bring home the least of? Is there a reason for that?
