I had the pleasure of doing a guest blog post on Tim McMahon’s Lean Journey blog and it was titled, Lean Sales and Marketing – Not without a new Toolset!. As the name indicates is discusses how you should look at applying Lean in Sales and Marketing with a little different set of tools, a point also referenced in my blog, It’s not your Grandmother’s Lean anymore!
The point of both blog posts was understanding how to get closer to the customer by using a platform that has been derived from the roots of Design Thinking and SD-Logic. These are all nice things to discuss but to put them in practice requires one big thing, Customer Trust! Look at how it is viewed from a Service Design perspective.
‘Trust, the next big thing’. This is the title of DesignThinkers Key Note for AEGON’s Marketing Conference April 15th. How to close the ‘trust gap’ that has grown too wide? How can AEGON start good relationships with customers built on trust? Read our thoughts on trust:
The slideshow takes a long time to get to the subject of trust but when you think about it, it takes a long time to get there with a customer too!
